The wait is nearly over! The much-anticipated Alfa Romeo Giulia is due in showrooms in the first quarter of 2017. Our first mid-sized luxury car in 20 years features sleek Italian styling with beauty in every detail. Luxury features include a Bluetooth infotainment system with voice activation, 3-D satellite navigation, DAB digital radio, a full-colour touchscreen, and a 10-speaker Sound Theatre audio system with a dedicated subwoofer to provide the soundtrack for every drive.
Of course, performance and handling are high on every Alfisto's wish list, so the Giulia features AlfaLink suspension with double wishbone suspension in the front and four-and-a-half-link suspension in the rear, which work together to provide a smooth, comfortable ride, precise handling, and excellent traction even in tight corners and fast manoeuvres. The Integrated Brake System combines Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS) with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) in a single unit, which reduces overall weight, and supports the balanced design. The Alfa DNA drive mode selection system coordinates and fine-tunes all of the car's active handling systems to give the best driving profile for the conditions you select: Dynamic for sporty performance and handling, Natural for normal driving conditions, and All-Weather to give you the best possible traction in slick road conditions.
Diesel Engine Option
One Giulia engine option is a turbo-charged 2.2-litre diesel engine. This engine features an aluminium block for reduced weight and is longitudinally mounted for optimal weight balance. The turbo system operates at higher torque and lower speeds to give a lag-free progressive response to sudden acceleration.
Petrol Engine Option
The other alternative is a 2.0-litre petrol engine, available in either 147 kW or 202 kW. Both of the engine options, diesel and petrol, are teamed with an eight-speed automatic transmission for smooth shifting and best balance between output and fuel economy.
